LIVING PROOF AWARD WINNING PRODUCTS

It’s pretty wild to think about the fact that it’s only June and Living Proof products have already won 11 awards from beauty insiders.  Of course I’m not surprised because I have been telling you all about the line and how fabulous it is since we started carrying it almost two years ago.  Since I know some of you might need a little extra coaxing, I thought I would share a list of the winners and tell you how I like to use them on myself and clients.  Don’t get me wrong, you will like any of these products alone but you will see the BEST results if you use them exclusively with only other Living Proof products…just ask anyone that participated in HAIR REHAB last year!

PERFECT HAIR DAY (PHD) STYLING CREAM

HOW I USE IT

Apply a quarter sized dollop of PHD and start at mid-lengths and then work throughout your entire head.  Comb through to distribute (recommended for all Living Proof products).  I also like to pair this with the Rootlifting Hairspray so you have an extra boost at the roots and then tons of density throughout.  This is the ONLY product in the entire line that contains both OFPMA and PBAE (the patented smoothing and volumizing molecules).

Best Shampoo (Total Beauty.com, 2014 Beauty Awards)

HOW I USE IT

This shampoo paired with the PERFECT HAIR DAY CONDITIONER is great for women that have multiple hair concerns (research says that’s 90% of us).  It’s a great gift if you are not sure which shampoo/conditioner combo to pick for someone and these two paired with the PHD Styling Treatment (above) could be all that many women need to make their hair do what they need!

HOW I USE IT

Prime should be your first step in the styling process.  Like makeup primer, it sets the stage for all of your other products to work AND it extends the life of your style 2x.  Can you skip it?  Yes.  But your style wont last as long which will result in more shampooing and more damage.  They have also come up with a Prime Spray that’s lighter and is perfect for fine, thin hair!

HOW I USE IT

If you want to add tons of density and volume to your hair that last 5x longer then this is your product!  You will want to rub a dollop in your hands until it liquifies and distribute evenly.  Comb through for best results!  For all of you “big hair” girls make sure you get Control the new hairspray!

SATIN

Best Hair Serum (SELF, 2014 Healthy Beauty Awards)

HOW I USE IT

If you love your serums but hate that your hair feels dirty after about a day then you need to try Satin!  It doesn’t contain any silicones or oils so you will notice your hair doesn’t get dirty and weighed down after just a day.  Use a TINY amount on wet hair to speed up your blow dry!

FULL ROOTLIFTING HAIRSPRAY

Serious Volumizer (Martha Stewart Weddings, 2014 Big Day Beauty Awards)

HOW I USE IT

Okay where do I start here...this product is probably my favorite product in the entire line!  I use it on EVERYONE!  Spray it on damp hair at the roots to add volume or spray on dry hair at the roots on day 2 or 3 and blow dry for a refresh!  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

FLEX HAIRSPRAY

Best Hairspray (Redbook, 2014 MVP Beauty Awards)

Flex is a 3 in 1 hairspray that is great for travel!  You can spray it on damp hair at the roots for volume, you can spray it on dry hair to set curls and then you can use it as a finishing spray.  So amazing and super flexible.  Touchable hold for days!
