I know that I already touched on Austin Fashion Week and all of the events that I’m excited about this year but one particular event deserves a second mention! For the first year, Austin Fashion Week is having a fashionable brunch and 100% off the proceeds will go directly to The Rise School of Austin. If you don’t know about The Rise School, take two minutes to check out their website to fall in love, then quickly race to the AFW website and hope that tickets to this event haven’t sold out! I personally think you should just donate $70 (or more) to The Rise School but in case you need convincing let me tell you a little about why you should join us for this event in addition to this amazing cause…
THE FOOD
I mean it is brunch so let’s start with the food. You can expect a delicious 3 course brunch with wine from celebrity chef Brian Malarkey’s New American Classic Searsucker for $70. If you haven’t treated yourself yet, it’s a gorgeous space with incredible food. And since I know all of you are super generous I should mention that for $125/person you can upgrade and in addition to the above you will receive one raffle ticket (I’ll come back to that) and a gift provided by Manuscript Wines and Kendra Scott. You know Kendra wont disappoint so I’m guessing this is the best deal!
THE FASHION SHOW
I’m thrilled that the Mirror Mirror team will be doing the hair and makeup for this show and the fashion is going to be gorgeous and super wearable…it is fashion week after all. Estilo, Elie Tahari, Valentines Too and UAL wont disappoint!
