It’s go time! Santa is coming this week and I’m personally freaking out a little. It’s a lot of pressure to do all the things AND make it magical for your littles AND take a breath and actually enjoy it yourself! Last year, we started implementing the “Something They Want”, “Something They Need”, “Something to Wear”, and “Something to Read” thing and I love it. It gives me direction and keeps it reigned in so I don’t go over board. Of course Santa brings some specific requests but for the most part we stick to it!

The PLUSH car
My mom got this plush car for Luke last year and it is a HUGE hit! If you have any 18 months and under babies this is a good one because he LIVED in this thing and it acted as a place for him to stay occupied while I did my makeup or really anything I needed to keep him in one place!
Trolls EVERYTHING
We went to see this movie on Friday and I swear I laughed harder than Ford. The soundtrack is great too! I would definitely recommend throwing in some Troll goodies this year!
The BIG gift
We always do one biggish thing. You know, the bike or ride along toy or tee pee! If you have little cooks in the house, these kitchens are SO cute and they have been on sale (30% off as I’m typing this) so definitely worth checking out.
The CHRISTMAS PJs
You simply cannot beat Hanna Andersson and Pottery Barn for the classics. Do the ole “one gift on Christmas Eve” thing and they will be SO cute come Christmas morning!
The PRESS HERE books
We got a Press Here book for Ford’s second birthday and it’s still one of his favorites. There is now another one from the same author and even a Press Here Game! We also love Goodnight iPad.
The “SOMETHING THEY NEED” category
Moms, this is your chance to be a little selfish. If they need new sheets get them some fun ones! Need new socks? They make perfect stocking stuffers!! Rain Boots? Do it! Just make it fun and they will still love it – no boring white underwear allowed!
