Halloween is almost here and I am so excited. The entire Mirror Mirror team and I are sharing our annual team Halloween costume later this week on the blog and while it would be tough to beat last years costume, I hope it’s one to leave you inspired before the big night on Friday. I am still beaming from your words of encouragement over last weeks one year anniversary celebration for MarthaLynnKale.com. I promise to work just as hard on the next twelve months so keep those ideas pouring in! Ford’s costume is shaping up – just have to grab a few last minute items and pray he will actually wear it (fingers crossed).

BOOK TO BUY: I couldn’t be happier for my friend Camille Styles’ book to come out this week! It has been so inspiring to watch her pour herself into this project and Ford and I even got to sit in for a few of the shoots. If you haven’t already go now and order Camille’s book for everyone you know on your Christmas list!
INSTAGRAM TO FOLLOW: Okay this week offers you a “twofer”…you need to go follow Kiel James Patrick (clothing designer) and Sarah Vickers of Classy Girls Wear Pearls – this couple easily wins the “Cutest Couple” award for their feeds and will have you longing for a weekend by the fire wearing layers of plaid and cute socks!
COOLEST WAY TO FAKE A HAIRCUT: I noticed this trend back when all of the September issues started coming out but now it’s a full blown obsession! The scarf/sweater/jacket bob isn’t going anywhere so I decided to start a Pinterest board with my favorite “scarf bobs” of fall and have included some fabulous scarfs to shop below in case you are feeling like testing out this look.
HOME INSPIRATION: If you are in the market for some fresh inspiration for your home…make sure you check out the home tour of Spray Paint & Chardonnay on The Everygirl. Definitely makes me want to grab a fresh can of spray paint (and a bottle or two of chardonnay).
LAST MINUTE COSTUME: Sometimes you just aren’t in the mood for a full blown costume but you don’t want to be boring…this shirt is here to save the day and the classic silhouette means you can wear it every year!
