You know that feeling of being sick and tired of being sick and tired? Well, I have been there for months (probably longer if I really admitted it). I have been struggling with a laundry list of issues for a few years and have tried various things that never offered any real long term help. To recap, in the past 4 years I have gotten engaged, married, opened a salon, bought a house, had a baby, and most recently launched a new website (virtual high five) and I wouldn’t change a thing! Recently it occurred to me that there will always be something…a project, an event, a vacation, a late night, an early morning etc that will derail me from my goals. I have to stop waiting for the right time and commit to getting healthy NOW! I want to be healthy as an example to my family and (to be quite honest) because I could use the energy boost to keep all of those plates spinning!
About a month ago I reached out to Kim Wilson Pollock, holistic health coach (and long time friend) and asked for help! I told her my VERY long story and asked her to take on The Kales AND my entire team at Mirror Mirror. Bless. I knew that if I wanted to see real results that I needed accountability in every aspect of my life and I feel so lucky that everyone jumped right in. Our goal is a 12 week HEALTH MAKEOVER…this is not a diet or a cleanse…this is full blown lifestyle shift! Kim informed us that each week we would focus on adding something different each week to our lifestyle/routine. We are four weeks in and everyone is doing great. I am astonished at how much better I feel already and can’t wait to learn more. I’m also thrilled to announce that Kim will be a guest contributor for MarthaLynnKale.com while we are starting this new HEALTH MAKEOVER!
